Our Parish and school share in opportunities to share our Catholic faith with the youth of our Parish. The Parish organizes and runs the formation program for 6,7,8th grade students of our parish.

The boys and girls have 4 events where they have a very fun and faith-filled morning of activities learning what they have been created for and the unique gifts God gave them to give to this world.
In November on a Saturday from 10am to12n
Boys Event – “Medieval Fortnight Tournament” – catapulting, knife throwing, archery, learning the pieces of dress of a Knight and the religious meaning each possesses and more….
Girls Event – “Creating Our Holy Mother Filled with Grace” – Icon painting class of our Blessed Mother and more….
In January on a Saturday from 10am to12n
Boys Event –Love Thy Mother First – a wood working event where the boys become carpenters and hear of lessons from carpenters, Our Lord and St. Joseph, who loved and protected Our Blessed Mother.
Girls Event – The girls take a field trip to The Monastery of Mary, Mother of Grace, a Lafayette convent maintained by the Discalced Carmelites of the Roman Catholic Church, founded in 1936.

Boys & Girls Event – “Let Us Learn To Provide for Others” The Fatima boys and girls of 6th grade will travel to Family Missions Co. in Abbeville, LA to plant the spring garden for the mission.
In April: Retreat Saturday

Girls Retreat “I Am Beautiful in God’s Eyes”, a discovery of enhancing their inner and outer beauty followed by a mother-daughter luncheon and fashion show
Retreat Sunday, at 11:00AM Mass at Fatima Church
Boys – Dubbing Ceremony where boys become Knights.
Girls – Crowning Ceremony where girls become Women of Grace
Year- Long Program Fee: $100 per child
